Olson awful against Blue Jays Tuesday: Orioles starter Garrett Olson was terrible on Tuesday against the Blue Jays. It was lucky he didn't pick up the loss. He deserved one. Olson gave up six runs on nine hits in 4 2/3 innings and couldn't hold a 4-0 lead the O's hitters gave him. He walked three and only notched one strikeout. (Updated 07/22/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
Olson has a 6.11 ERA and hasn't won since June 28 against Washington. He can't go deep in games and he's given up at least five runs in four straight starts. He was a two-start pitcher this week, but he won't make the seven percent of Fantasy owners who started him happy. He's only a viable starter in AL-only leagues and if the Orioles had any better options, he probably would be back in the minors right now. His next scheduled start isn't any easier as it comes against first-place Anaheim on Sunday. (Updated 07/22/2008).
