Downs' scoreless streak ends: The Sports Xchange reports that Blue Jays RP Scott Downs' scoreless-inning streak came to a dramatic end Tuesday when 1B Richie Sexson hit a solo home run in the eighth inning to tie the game 6-6. Downs had gone 26 innings without allowing an earned run. The last earned run Downs allowed occurred April 30 vs. Boston. It also was just the second homer Downs has allowed this season.
