Guerrier's slump continues: According to The Sports Xchange notes: RHP Matt Guerrier got four days off last week as manager Ron Gardenhire tried to spell the reliever in hopes some rest would snap him out of his August slump, but it seemed to do little good. Guerrier came in for the eighth inning Sunday but only managed one out, allowing two runs on one hit and two walks.
