Fantasy Analysis
Lilly won for the first time in four starts Wednesday despite allowing two or fewer earned runs in two of his previous three appearances. Lilly had some struggles early in the season that was pinpointed as shoulder fatigue, but he has been on his game since May. The Cubs are going to contend down the stretch and that makes Lilly a viable Fantasy SP. His next scheduled start is for Monday against the Brewers. He is on track to be a two-start pitcher Fantasy Week 18 (July 28-Aug. 3) with his second start coming against the Pirates. He is 0-1 with a 7.71 ERA in one start against Milwaukee this season and has no record with a 8.38 ERA in two starts against Pittsburgh. (Updated 07/24/2008).
