Advice
An MRI showed that the pitcher's ailing shoulder has no substantial damage, but he'll need to participate in some bullpen sessions and show some improvement over the weekend. The injury could be a serious blow for the Mariners, owners of the worst record in the AL. They may opt to take their time with his recovery since their season has been a big disappointment.
