Jimerson re-signed to minor-league deal: The Sports Xchange reports that OF Charlton Jimerson is back with the Mariners, although not in the big leagues. Jimerson, designated for assignment six days earlier, signed a minor league contract with Seattle Wednesday. He'd cleared waivers and had been granted free agency before he re-signed with the club and was assigned to Triple-A Tacoma.
