Spilborghs unsure about winter ball: According to The Sports Xchange notes: OF Ryan Spilborghs said he is thinking of playing winter ball again in Mexico for Obregon where "they always have a place for me." He did it after the 2005 and 2006 seasons but not last year because the Rockies were in the World Series and played until late October. "I'm just not sure if I'm going to do it yet," Spilborghs said. "I want to train first. If I do do winter ball, it'll be late December." Spilborghs missed 47 games after suffering a left oblique strain July 9 and has just 201 at-bats in 81 games this season.
