Boston, New York ... New York, Boston. Can't win either way. ...

Re: Boston phenom Ellsbury too good not to be an everyday player
Did you grow up a Red Sox fan? You sound like a yahoo to me. Two starting centerfielders? Coco Crisp is a platoon guy -- or the word should be taken out of the lingo. The other guy (Jacoby Ellsbury) has played a handful of games, and you and Johnny Pesky are saying move over to the Splendid Splinter. WOW! How did you get this gig? Looks like the NATION's propaganda has you hypnotized also.
Looked up "yahoo" in the dictionary. It says, "Someone who neglects to read an entire column all the way through." OK, it really didn't say that, but it should have, because if you had read to the end, you would have encountered this paragraph that I wrote: "How good (Ellsbury might be), well, this is where imaginations run wild. The next Ted Williams? As good a guy and as well-meaning as he is, Pesky may need to settle down a little bit on that. Still, point made."

My feedback is: Coco is too good not to play every day. Before you get all excited about Ellsbury, let's us look at Coco's stats. They are just as good, if not better, than the new kid. And he comes without the arrogance that Ellsbury has acquired in the off-season.
Arrogance? Ellsbury is a nice, quiet kid who works hard. It's not like he goes around bragging about eating Coco Puffs for breakfast or anything.

Re.: Yankees have pitching problems, but enough to go to the Wells?
Hey Yankee killer, it's still early May. Darrell Rasner will be fine as the No. 5 starter. He didn't pitch poorly last season, and he was solid in his first start. As bad as Kei Igawa was, Wilson Betemit was worse at third base. There were three plays that wouldn't have put runners on base had A-Rod been at third base. The Yankees will make a move to pick up another starter to get them to the postseason. Did you forget how bad they started the season last year? They have the same pitchers available that they did last year, and they will make the playoffs.
P.S. Why don't you write about Jonathan Papelbon smashing water coolers, celebrating, and blowing consecutive saves?
Betemit played third base like a hippopotamus attempting to dance.

Without the Yankees, you would have nothing interesting to write about. MLB revolves around the Yankees the way the world revolves around New York! You look green.
I am green. You should be too, before global warming burns your butt.

Give it a rest already. If I see another article from you or any of your other ... in the tank sports writing fraternity about the Yankees, Mets, Red Sox or Tigers, I'm going to puke.
Let me give you a hint, as you and the rest of your fraternity don't wish to come clean about the dirty little secret that you at CBS Sports, ESPN, SI, FOX and all the rest of you wish to keep to yourself, what clearly appears to be media blackballing of a certain team whose existence no one wants to acknowledge. So let me give you a hint.
Take a look at the division that currently has collectively the best record of all the divisions in baseball. Four of the five teams are over 500. Now take a look and tell me the team that is currently leading the division. It has a record of 21-14. Which is the third best record in baseball. And nobody writes anything about this team, and if they ever do its typically negative.
Whatever praise this team gets from time to time is always backhanded. So for once, what I'm suggesting is there's a great story to be written about this team ... the Florida Marlins.
Phew, glad you finally mentioned the team. I thought you were talking about the Montreal Expos.

Rasner is 2-0.
And the Yankees are in fourth place.
