    News
After Wednesday's 13-1 loss to the Twins, White Sox SP Mark Buehrle is 0-4 in last five starts since winning at Detroit on April 6, and this one was particularly frustrating. He gave up seven runs and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings and slammed a bat against the bench and ground after being lifted. His troubles started almost as soon as he took to the mound. Carlos Gomez wasted little time jumping on Buehrle after rain delayed the start by 1 hour, 44 minutes. He lined a 1-1 pitch to left and kept sprinting around the bases after the ball landed in the seats. Gomez made it 2-0 with a triple to center in the fifth and the Twins would score five more times in the sixth as nine players came to the plate.

Seattle got visiting White Sox SP Gavin Floyd (3-2), who has been one of the toughest pitchers to hit so far this season, for five runs and nine hits over 3 2/3 innings Sunday. He didn't record a strikeout and walked two, losing for the second time this season. Floyd entered with a major league-leading opponent batting average of .149. He carried a no-hitter into the ninth Tuesday against Minnesota and into the seventh April 12 against Detroit.
