    Despite a shaky outing Wednesday against the Red Sox, Tigers SP Armando Galarraga departed in the sixth inning with a 8-5 lead and was in line for his third win. However, Boston rallied after he left the game and eventually took the lead, erasing Galarraga's win. Galarraga gave up five runs and seven hits in 5 1/3 innings. The rookie, who went into the rotation when Dontrelle Willis went on the disabled list, matched a career high with six strikeouts and walked only one in his fifth start. He allowed two homers -- a two-run shot to Kevin Youkilis in the fourth and then a solo shot to Youkilis in the sixth that ran him from the game.
