Kudos to Greg Maddux on reaching his 350th career victory. My wish is that it could have come in the uniform of the Chicago Cubs.

Classy man, classy act.  I sincerely hope that he will be able to go into the HOF wearing a Cubs hat.

Rumor Mill
The Chicago Tribune reports that Cubs fans who love Wrigley Field's name and historic character will find their passions protected by the state if it swings a deal to buy the ballpark from Tribune Co. Former Gov. and chairman of the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority, the state/city agency that is in negotiations to purchase the park, said, "We certainly would want the name to stay Wrigley."
