--LF Adam Dunn was in Sunday's lineup despite taking pregame treatment for an ingrown toe nail on his right big toe, "Something I've never had before and man it is on fire," he said.

--SS Jeff Keppinger was 5-for-5 in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Mets, his first five-hit game in the majors and it lifted his batting average from .290 to .317.

--RHP Aaron Harang, 1-5 with a 3.09 ERA in his eight starts, opens Monday's homestand against Florida. He'll be hoping his teammates can get him more than the 2.75 runs they have averaged in his previous eight starts in 2008.

--RHP David Weathers made three scoreless appearances in his first week off the DL and has a 3.33 ERA for the 584 appearances of his career.

--RF Ken Griffey Jr., wearing pink-trimmed spikes and pink shoe laces, along with pink sweat bands and using a pink bat as part of breast cancer awareness day, owns six home runs on Mother's Day, most of any active player, but did not connect against the Mets Sunday.

BY THE NUMBERS
18 -- Number of losing road trips that Reds have had over their last 19 trips.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"Winning on the road is important for any team that has any aspirations of being successful and that's one thing we have to start doing to get better around here." -- Manager Dusty Baker.

Talk about the trade rumor of Donkey to Oakland for Street?  Anyone else heard anything like this?

What would you all think about this trade?  I personally wouldn't mind it as long as we went out and spent some money for a bat in the offseason.  I'm not a big Dunn guy, I'm more old fashioned, I like batting average and doing the little things to get guys in.&n ...(more)
