Aldridge's breakout season came in a year in which the Blazers were expected to field a front court due with Aldridge and Greg Oden. However, a knee injury sidelined Oden for the entire season and allowed Aldridge to flourish on his own in the front court. It will be interesting to see how the young trio of Aldridge, Oden and Brandon Roy co-exist in their first full season together in 2008-09, but it is safe to say that Aldridge won't see quite as many touches in the low post with Oden around. For that reason, Fantasy owners shouldn't expect him to outperform his draft value the way he did in his sophomore season. (Updated 05/13/2008).
