Big Z not allowed to rep Lithuania: Zydrunas Ilgauskas will not be permitted to play for Lithuania in the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Although the veteran center had made it clear he wanted to compete for his country in the Olympics, the Cavaliers think it is just too much of a risk. "Zydrunas is an important member of our team and has generally been a higher risk player due to his injury history," Cavs General Manager Danny Ferry said Thursday night. (Updated 06/13/2008).

Big Z revived much of his Fantasy value and returned to being useful as a No. 1 Fantasy center. He appears to have his place in the LeBron James-centric offense and there is enough room for him to contribute after all. He'll be fresh now considering he won't play in the Olympics, but will still be a slight risk as a center to select as your No. 1 overall center next season considering his age.
