He went nine straight games at one point during the season without cracking double figures and really had some horrendous shooting performances, but the assists were still there. He averaged over 10 per game for the first time since the 1999-00 season and remains the best rebounding point guard in the game. The combination of assists and rebounds make up for his lack of offensive prowess and he's still the most likely player to record a triple-double on any given night. His Fantasy stock dropped a bit in 2007-08 and the 35-year-old can no longer be thought of as a sure thing, but he will be worth a pick in the first couple of rounds due to his track record in 2008-09.
