Good recognition of the route and a fluid athlete, capable of breaking on the ball quickly while in zone coverage. Runs well and has the change of direction skills for man coverage. Challenged early in 2006 and intercepted four passes in his first three games. Helped himself with a strong week of practice at the East-West Shrine Game.

Negatives: Better in zone than man coverage. Lacks great deep speed and sometimes plays too aggressively, over-reacting to pump fakes and getting burned by double moves. Intercepted four passes in his first three games, but was blanked the rest of the season. Isn't the physical hitter his size would indicate.
