Gage ready for attention: Coming off the best season of his NFL career, Titans WR Justin Gage knows expectations are much higher for him to produce, arguably as the team's No. 1 receiver. To casual NFL fans, Gage remains an unknown. But the Titans showed how much they value the receiver by signing him to a four-year, $14 million contract in February, a deal that included $6.5 million in guarantees. Heading into his sixth NFL season and his second with the Titans Gage is working this offseason to prove he's worth the money. He led the Titans with 750 receiving yards last season and tied for the team lead 55 receptions, including two touchdowns. Mike Heimerdinger, who replaced Norm Chow as offensive coordinator in January, likes what he's seen of Gage. "He is comfortable. And he knows he is going to get a chance to get the ball," Heimer-dinger said. "He's a guy we'll be counting on." (Updated 05/19/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
This offseason, Gage has worked to develop an even greater chemistry with QB Vince Young. In the Titans' final regular season game in 2007, Gage had a career-high 104 receiving yards in a win at Indianapolis. His 13.6-yard average was the best on the team. "I just want to pick up where we left off last year and not have a slow start," Gage said. "The more comfortable I am with Vince, the better off we'll be. And that's what we'll spend so much time working on in the next few months." Consider Gage a No. 3 Fantasy WR in 2008. He has the chance to make some plays as the No. 1 option, but he also can be disappointing since his QB is still raw. (Updated 05/19/2008).
