--Kedric Golston, the No. 3 defensive tackle, missed the final three practices of minicamp with a sprained right ankle but is expected to be ready when the Redskins return to the field on June 2 for the start of their second OTA sessions.

While 2006 sixth-rounder Golston had been healthy during his first two seasons, 2007 seventh-round tight end Tyler Ecker, who missed all of his rookie year but the first couple of days of training camp with a hamstring injury, missed minicamp with an ailing groin. So did safety Kareem Moore, who had a knee scoped two days after being selected in the sixth round of the 2008 draft. Ecker's status for June is unclear. Moore will likely remain sidelined until training camp in July.

--Jon Jansen, the starting right tackle in every game for which he's been healthy since he was drafted in the second round in 1999, is working some at center as he recovers from the broken leg and dislocated ankle that ended his 2007 season in the opener. With swingman Mike Pucillo not re-signed, starting left guard Pete Kendall is the only proven backup to center Casey Rabach. And since Kendall's knees keep him from practicing every day, Jansen and third-rounder Chad Rinehart will take some snaps at center this summer.

"Who knows, maybe I can extend my career a couple of years," Jansen said.

--A fifth man was charged on May 14 in the shooting death of Redskins Pro Bowl safety Sean Taylor last November. Timothy Brown, 16, was charged by Miami-Dade County prosecutors with first-degree murder and armed burglary of an occupied dwelling.

Like Brown, the four men previously charged will not face the death penalty. That's because the alleged shooter, Eric Rivera Jr., was just 17 at the time of the crime and minors can't face the death penalty under Florida law. Additionally, even though co-defendants Venjah Hunte, 20, Jason Mitchell, 20, and Charles Wardlow, 19, aren't minors, they can't be put to death either because they weren't the alleged shooters. All four are facing first-degree murder charges. If convicted in the trial that is set to begin on Aug. 25, each man would automatically be sentenced to life in prison.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"Our (special) teams are pretty good. We don't want to be average at anything. We punted nine times in (the wild-card playoff loss at) Seattle and we didn't have a 4.5 hang time on any of 'em. If you line-drive the ball, these premier returners will stick it right back down your throat." -- Special teams coach Danny Smith explaining why incumbent punter Derrick Frost is being challenged by sixth-round draft choice Durant Brooks.

Might as well get to know a little about the Redskins worst #1 enemy...the Hammy.

Hamstring injuries are common among runners. The hamstring muscles run down the back of the leg from the pelvis to the lower leg bones, and an injury can range from minor strains to total rupture of the muscle. The three muscles that ma

SI.com has a article about owner rankings. They have Redskins owner ranked 3rd as best owner. I do  not know how they have this. As a marketer he is #1 but as anything else I would put him in the bottom 3rd. Here is the link.
