Notable Week 12 inactives from the Raiders-Chiefs game include: Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell (No. 3/emergency QB), DB Stuart Schweigert, QB Andrew Walter, DB John Bowie, LB Isaiah Ekejiuba and DL Josh Shaw. For the Chiefs, RB Larry Johnson, LB Kendrell Bell, QB Tyler Thigpen (No. 3/emergency QB), WR Eddie Drummond, DB Rashad Barksdale and DL James Reed are inactive.

Raiders LB Kirk Morrison (10 tackles), LB Robert Thomas (five tackles, forced fumble), DL Warren Sapp (five tackles), DL Jay Richardson (two tackles, sack), LB Chris Clemons (fumble recovery) and DL Tyler Brayton (fumble recovery) all helped out with nice efforts in Oakland's 34-20 win over the Broncos in Week 13.

Raiders rookie RB Oren O'Neal appeared in 13 games in 2007 and finished with one catch for 1 yard. The Raiders drafted O'Neal in the sixth round of the NFL Draft out of Arkansas State, but he is more of a blocking back and special teams player than someone who will carry the ball.

The Sacramento Bee reports that Raiders rookie WR Johnathan Holland will miss the 2007 season with a dislocated shoulder. He also hurt his knee in an offseason workout.

After a sluggish rookie season in 2007, QB JaMarcus Russell is ready to enter 2008 as the full-time starter. Russell only appeared in four games as a rookie after a lengthy holdout and had 373 yards passing, two touchdowns and four interceptions. His best game came in the season-finale against San Diego when he passed for 224 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

The Contra Costs Times reports that the Raiders have signed DE Mkristo Bruce to their practice squad. He played his college ball at Washington State.

The Oakland Raiders waived fullback John Paul Foschi on Saturday and activated linebacker Ricky Brown from the practice squad. Foschi, in his third year with the Raiders, did not play in Oakland's first three games. He played in 10 games last season and spent 2004 on the practice squad. Brown is an undrafted free agent out of Boston College.

The New York Giants on Monday waived the following players: TE Rodney Burgess, WR Will Buchanon, DB Richard Yancy and LB Karibi Dede.

The Raiders' list of inactives for Week 16 against the Jaguars includes QB Daunte Culpepper, QB Andrew Walter, RB Justin Fargas, WR Tim Dwight, DB Rashad Baker, DB John Bowie and DL Josh Shaw.

Raiders TE John Madsen appeared in 16 games in 2007 and finished with eight catches for 102 yards and a touchdown. He is Oakland's No. 2 tight end behind Zach Miller and is more of a blocker than receiver.

Raiders DB Michael Huff played well in his second season in 2007. He had his first career interception to go with 85 tackles (74 solo). He also added one sack and one forced fumble.

The Raiders are holding onto RB LaMont Jordan, a league source said, because some in the organization believe they can still get trade value for the man who ran for 1,025 yards in 2005, reports the San Francisco Chronicle. At this point, teams are more likely to wait for Jordan's release so they can sign him to a cheaper deal than the $4.7 million he is owed this season. The Raiders cut RB Dominic Rhodes after drafting rookie Darren McFadden, and Jordan is likely fourth on the depth chart behind McFadden, Justin Fargas and Michael Bush.

The Contra Costa Times reports that the Raiders have signed QBs Erik Meyer and Jeff Otis and have re-signed LB Jon Alston, who was an exclusive-rights free agent. Furthermore, NFL Network reports that the Raiders and DE Kalimba Edwards have agreed to a two-year deal.

The Colts have put their tag-team runners -- Joseph Addai and Dominic Rhodes -- back together. The tandem that helped Indianapolis win its first Super Bowl title has been reunited after Rhodes agreed on a one-year deal to return to the Colts. Rhodes' agent, Mike McCartney confirmed the signing Wednesday in an e-mail to The Associated Press. The transition should be smooth for Rhodes, who is expected to share reps with Addai, albeit not to the extent he did in 2006.

Raiders DL Gerard Warren picked up a sack Week 15 against the Colts. He also had five tackles.

Todd Watkins spent the entire 2007 season on the Falcons' practice squad. He'll attempt to earn a roster spot at training camp in 2008.

Raiders WR Tim Dwight appeared in six games in 2007 after signing with the team in October and had six catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns. He also had nine punt returns for a 6.0-yard average and one kickoff return for 30 yards.

The Raiders are expected to resume their search for a backup to QB JaMarcus Russell. They want to go into training camp with at least one proven arm to compete with fourth-year QB Andrew Walter, reports the San Francisco Chronicle. Some of the names the Raiders are considering include Trent Dilfer and former Raiders QB Daunte Culpepper. Last year, Culpepper started six games for the Raiders after signing with the team during training camp. If the Raiders aren't happy with their quarterback depth, he just might still be around. If Dilfer, the former 49ers backup, is going to play another year, it'd be nice to stay close to home. The Raiders contacted him recently and he remains a serious candidate.

Raiders DB Stuart Schweigert appeared in 15 games in 2007 and finished with 69 tackles (56 solo) and two interceptions. Schweigert set a career-high last year with 107 tackles, so his tackle total declined in 2007.

In an interview with CBSSports.com, Raiders RB Michael Bush said that not only is he at 100 percent health right now, but he has been since before the end of the 2007 season. Bush is fully active in the Raiders' offseason conditioning program and has been working out on the practice field with starting QB JaMarcus Russell and the rest of the Raiders' offensive players.

To make room for QB JaMarcus Russell on the 53-man roster, the Raiders released CB Duane Starks on Monday.

Raiders rookie TE Zach Miller played well in 2007. He finished the year with 44 catches for 444 yards and three touchdowns.

Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski went 23-of-32 on field goals in 2007 with a long of 54. For the season, Janikowski was 6-of-11 on field goals from beyond 50 yards. He also made all 28 extra points.

The Raiders and free-agent WR Javon Walker have reportedly agreed on a six-year, $55 million deal with $16 million guaranteed. The San Francisco Chronicle is among those reporting the deal. Walker is coming off a disappointing season in 2007 where he only played in eight games (participating in full for just two) due to a right knee injury that required surgery last season. He finished with 26 catches for 287 yards and no touchdowns.

The Raiders listed DB Hiram Eugene as inactive for Week 17 at the N.Y. Jets.
