Kiprusoff loses game in OT: Pavol Demitra scored with 1:06 left in overtime to give the Canucks a 5-4 victory over the Calgary Flames and Miikka Kiprusoff on Saturday night. After Michael Cammalleri lost the puck deep in the Canucks' end, Vancouver broke out on a 3-on-1 rush led by Alexandre Burrows. Burrows waited patiently before sending the puck across the to Demitra at the edge of the crease and he banged it in the open side for his first goal of the season. Kiprusoff made 46 saves in the loss and is now 0-1-1 to start the season. "We're giving up a lot of point-blank things, bang-bang plays right in front, we're not giving Kiprusoff much of a chance," Jarome Iginla said. "We've got to tighten that up, we know we do, and we'll keep working at it."

Kiprusoff has allowed 11 goals in the first two games and has a 5.32 GAA. He has not been his normal dominant self in net. However, it's still early in the season and there is no need for Fantasy owners to panic. The Flames will get going soon enough and Kiprusoff's win totals shall rise. Despite the off night, he remains a must-start Fantasy option. The Flames TG is also a high-end option.
