Mara appeared in 61 games with the Rangers in 2007-08, registering one goal and 16 assists along with 52 penalty minutes. Mara missed 15 games last season with a shoulder injury and facial fractures. In addition, Mara registered one assist with 20 penalty minutes and a plus-three rating, while appearing in all 10 of the Rangers’ playoff games. Mara has had two very disappointing seasons from an offensive standpoint with the Rangers and we don't forsee him getting back above 40-points in 2008-09. He remains a low-end Fantasy defenseman.
