Fisher healthy for home opener: Senators C Mike Fisher is back healthy after missing the team's first two games because of a groin injury. Fisher was able to play in Saturday's game against the Red Wings, Ottawa's home opener.

The Senators expect Fisher to anchor the third line, a physical unit with Chris Neil and Jarkko Ruutu, so he needs to prove healthy in 2008-09. Fisher has good offensive talent, but if he is going to play on the checking line, he remains a low-end Fantasy forward to open the season.

"We'll see (Saturday). I don't really know," Fisher said, regarding his chances of playing in the opener. The center wasn't expected to skate Friday and will try it Saturday in the morning skate. Fisher said the injury is not related to the injury he battled through for much of last season, when he had 23 goals and 24 assists for 47 points in 79 games for the Senators.
