Neil to make early return Saturday: Chris Neil will make a surprisingly early return to the Ottawa Senators lineup Saturday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Neil, who suffered a torn MCL in his right knee on Feb. 21, was originally expected to miss at least five weeks. But after a quicker than expected recovery, Neil will return to the playing roster and probably suit up a line with Mike Fisher and Cory Stillman. (Updated 03/21/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
Neil is an agitator who usually brings a physical edge to the game. He missed 13 games with the knee injury. He credits a strong workout program with strength and conditioning coach Randy Lee for allowing him to make the early return. He also says the fringe benefit of the injury is the fact that it allowed his other bumps and bruises to also heal. Neil's return to the lineup will bump underachieving forward Randy Robitaille into becoming a healthy scratch. (Updated 03/21/2008).
