Brown to take on leadership role: The Sports Xchange reports RW Dustin Brown is setting himself up as a leader on a Kings team that lacks them. Last year's captain, Rob Blake, and the primary alternate captains -- Michael Cammalleri, Scott Thornton and Lubomir Visnovsky -- are all gone, leaving the Kings with a leadership void. In might step Brown, who is only 23 but has played parts of four seasons with the Kings and is an increasingly large voice in the locker room. Brown recently addressed a group of Kings prospects about the transition from junior and minor-league hockey to the NHL.
