Parise praises Team USA's effort: The Sports Xchange reports Devils LW Zach Parise had five goals, three assists and a plus-1 rating in seven games playing for Team USA at the World Championships. The team came up short in its quest for the title (failing to advance past the quarterfinals for the seventh time in the last nine years), but Parise said, "Our future is looking really good. We have a lot of good young players. There is a lot of build from in this tournament, but at the same time, it's disappointing right now." (Updated 06/02/2008).

Fantasy Analysis
Parise stayed hot at the World Championships after posting a career-high 65 points in 2007-08. His 32 goals and 33 assists were also career bests. Parise has missed just two regular-season games in the last three seasons and is turning into one of the best North American-born forwards in the NHL. He will be a nice No. 3 or No. 4 Fantasy forward Draft Day 2008. (Updated 06/02/2008).
