FINAL RECORD
20-13 overall, 12-6 in CAA, 2nd (T) in conference.

WHAT WENT RIGHT
The return of G T.J. Carter after missing last year with hernia surgery gave the Seahawks a floor leader. Carter was the team's high scorer at 15.8 points a game and the league's best free-throw shooter. He set the tone, especially late in games when he would take over and will the Seahawks to victory. But there were so many other players stepping up, C Vladimir Kuljanin became one of the nation's leading shooters with a .667 shooting percentage, Daniel Fountain led the league in 3-point shooting and Hendley was the inspirational senior leader.

WHAT WENT WRONG
There were three losses that wound up killing the Seahwaks' postseason dreams, the toughest one being the loss to George Mason in the tournament. But early-season losses at Drexel and James Madison, two of the low level teams in the conference, and a one-point loss to Delaware took a tremendous toll on UNCW's dreams.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"He's our unsung guy. The other three seniors get a lot of ink and credit but Todd Hendley is our heart and soul." -- Coach Benny Moss, on senior Todd Hendley, who won the league's Sportsmanship Award.
