SCOUTING REPORT
The progress of 7-foot sophomore C Jerome Jordan has made Tulsa a different team down the stretch. Along with senior F Calvin Walls, he gives the Golden Hurricane a chance to win in the low post, especially now that he's become a more capable scorer. Senior PG Brett McDade makes the team go when he's on his game and sophomore G Ben Uzoh is Tulsa's most consistent scorer.

GAME REVIEW

Tulsa 61, Miami (Ohio) 45 (CBI first round)

Tulsa 69, Utah 60 (CBI quarterfinal)

GAME PREVIEW

vs. TBD (CBI semifinal)

IN FOCUS
If Jerome Jordan can continue to score inside, the Golden Hurricane will continue to be a more balanced and productive offensive team. If not, Tulsa must try to grind out wins with its defense and rebounding.

ROSTER REPORT

--PG Brett McDade played one of the best games of his college career against Miami, scoring a game-high 22 points to go with six assists and no turnovers. In the process, McDade also became the 30th Tulsa player to reach 1,000 career points. "I thought Brett McDade's performance was phenomenal," Tulsa coach Doug Wojcik said. "We've kind of seen his career go full circle."

--After Jerome Jordan averaged a double-double during the C-USA tournament, Miami did all it could to stop him from scoring. Jordan responded by passing the ball out of tight spots to keep the ball moving. Jordan scored only six points on two of three shooting but he also grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked two shots.

--Senior F Calvin Walls benefited from the focus on Jordan, finishing with 10 points and eight rebounds.
