THE GOOD NEWS
PG Devin Gibson is back, along with F Travis Gabbidon and G Omar Johnson, who missed the entire season due to injury. G Joey Shank and F JohnMark Ludwick began to show their talent and, if they become more consistent shooters, this could be a tough team to handle.

THE BAD NEWS
Four senior starters are gone. That could devastate some teams, but there appears to be enough talent to ease the burden of losing that many players. A true inside presence type of player has not emerged.

KEY RETURNEES
Gibson is a tremendous competitor, who led the Roadrunners in scoring (14.1 ppg), assists (142) and steals (93). Gabbidon missed almost the entire Southland Conference season, but was leading in scoring (13.9 ppg) and rebounding (5.8 rpg) when he went down. G Joey Shank (9.2 ppg) hit 67 3-pointers, while Ludwick (41.2 percent from 3-point range) seemed to get more accustomed to Division I ball as the season progressed.

ROSTER REPORT

--Freshman PG Devin Gibson (3.3 spg) led the nation in steals per game. His 93 swipes are the second-best single-season mark in UTSA history, trailing only Ronnie Ellison's 97 in 1990-1991.

--G Joey Shank's 67 3-pointers made ranked sixth on the Roadrunners' single-season list.
