Fantasy Analysis
We've heard this one before. Betts is expected to continue aiding Portis with the Redskins' run game in 2008 but not get to the point of splitting reps 50-50 or anything like that. What helps his cause is the team's offensive philosophy change to a West Coast Offense, but so long as Portis is upright, Betts' best Fantasy role will be as insurance for the Redskins stud rusher. Think late-round pick with Betts.

Fantasy Analysis
There's no question that Moss is an electric receiver, when healthy, but if you throw out his two best seasons in the league -- the only two seasons where he's played 16 games -- he's a very pedestrian Fantasy option. However, we like the team's choice to move to a West-Coast offense, and that should help Moss add more catches to his bottom line. But ultimately he is a No. 3 option at best. Think middle-round pick with him in drafts this summer.

Portis should be the centerpiece of an improved offense in Washington. Everyone from Portis to Zorn to, well, us believe that Portis has a shot at his best season yet thanks to the intense amount of work being asked of him. Consider Portis a No. 1 Fantasy RB worth a pick at the end of the first round.

Daniels will be 36 years old next season, leading to some speculation that he would consider retirement from a game played by 20-somethings. He said several times last offseason that he was a 35-year-old in a 25-year-old body. Well, his knee has aged, anyway. As far as Fantasy purposes, Daniels isn't an option at this point.

Doughty is a respected player in the locker room, especially after he entered the lineup for the late Taylor last December. Doughty finished with 49 tackles and a half-sack in six starts last season. He's a low-end Fantasy DB with upside in IDP leagues. With Landry opposite hitting the stuffing out of people, Doughty could see an increase in interceptions.

Landry finished with 97 tackles, third-best on the defense, and 1.5 sacks. He also had two fourth-quarter interceptions in the Redskins' playoff game at Seattle. Landry has a chance to be a solid DB in IDP leagues this year. Consider him a No. 2 Fantasy option with upside coming into this season.
