People are calling it the greatest thing to happen to the Yankees in nearly a decade, and "The stache that saved the season." It's Jason Giambi's mustache, and it took time out of its busy schedule to speak with before the start of this weekend's series between the Yankees and Red Sox. Ben: So, Jason Giambi's mustache. How's it going?

B: So one could say you're enjoying your "brush" with fame?
JGM: Ha! Brush. Good one there. Never heard that before.
B: Sorry, it was easy.
JGM All good. But just because I'm a mustache don't mean I was born yesterday. I go all the way back to May, buddy.
B: Gotcha.
JGM Anyway, I couldn't be happier. I'm a rich, single mustache living in Manhattan. You have any idea how much lip I'm getting these days?
B: I can only imagine.
JGM: You bet your sweet stubble you do. Hey, here's a good one. Knock knock ...
B: Who's there?
JGM Jason Giambi's mustache.
B: Jason Giambi's mustache, who?
