A Glance at 2000-01

The Broncos lose a senior nucleus of Nathan Fast, Todd Wuschnig, Darrell Teat and Chris Gomes, but do return junior point guard Brian Jones, the co-freshman of the year in '97 with Gonzaga's Matt Santangelo.

Jones returned to action this season after sitting out the '99 campaign with an offseason knee injury. He appeared to finally reach his full stride late in the season.

Guards Delano D'Oyen (6-0, Jr.) and Brian Vaka (6-2, So.) will become bigger factors next season. The front line returns veterans Stephen Dely (6-10, Jr.), David Emslie (6-11, So.), Justin Holbrook (6-7, So.) and Jamie Holmes (6-8, So.).
