Came to the college level regarded as a slasher but has blossomed into a complete player One of the best wing defenders in the country, and the best defender on the Red Storm team Capable scorer from the pullup position or off the bounce Uses screens to free himself for catch and shoot jumpers Gets a lot of pop on his shot, a lot of spring in his legs Inefficient hand position on the ball in his release but it works for him and he gets good rotation Takes man off the dribble, not a superb athlete but enough agility to create his own shot though he won't always get the best separation Ballhandling to skip through traffic Great scorer in the lane for a guard Takes the ball up strong with both hands Intelligent on the pump fake to draw contact as a mid-range scorer Fiery, intense competitor Unfortunately, he tries so hard that he is prone to tightening up at the end of games, especially from the charity stripe Also will try and do too much with the ball Comes from the weakside defensively and goes over the top to block shots Great basketball smarts.
