SportsLine has learned that the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday completed the two-step process of keeping intact the left side of the defensive line by reaching a contract agreement with tackle Larry Webster.

On Sunday, the Ravens re-signed left end Rob Burnett, also an unrestricted free agent, to a four-year contract worth $14 million.

The agreement was confirmed by Ravens vice president of player personnel Ozzie Newsome.

Webster, who started all 16 games next to Burnett in 1999, will sign a three-year, $4.64 million contract. It includes a $1.5 million signing bonus and base salaries of $440,000 (for 2000), $1.1 million (2001) and $1.6 million (2002).

A seven-year veteran, Webster, 31, was originally a third-round choice of Miami in 1992 and he played with the Dolphins three seasons before joining the Cleveland Browns in 1995. Webster then moved to Baltimore with the franchise. In seven seasons, he has played in 102 games and has 36 starts.
