FULLERTON, Calif. -- Donny Daniels, an assistant at Utah the last 11
years, was hired Thursday as head basketball coach at Cal State-Fullerton,
which hasn't had a winning season since 1993.
Daniels, 45, signed a four-year contract at his alma mater, where he played
on Fullerton's first Division I basketball teams in 1975 and '76. He was an
assistant coach for the Titans three separate times from 1978 to '89, when he
