Preseason Power Rankings

Computerized Power Ratings for collegiate football were created by SportsMaster, an enhanced data software developer. The ratings are a statistical analysis of the strength of a football team. The power ratings are a representation of a team's ability on a neutral field. Compare the ratings for the two teams after adding the home field advantage to the home team's rating. The greater the difference the more likely the higher rated team will win.

The Power Ratings take into account 45 different statistical categories and rankings.
