Fast diminutive cornerback completed a nice career in the ACC as a two-year starter. Austin shows quickness and speed in man coverage, though he needs refinement both his footwork and technique. He is soft in run support and needs extensive weight training to start at the next level.

The improved strength will help him play bump and run where he lacks the arm strength to chuck the receiver effectively at the line. He has quick reactions in coverage with the speed to match receivers and recovery in the deep game.

At the combine, he ran a 4.46 time with a 35" vertical leap, a 9'11" broad jump and 17 reps in the lifting. At this point of his development, he can only be considered a solid nickel corner with some return skills.

Late pick only with some upside, if he develops stronger physically.
