This strong, compact tailback completed an excellent career as a first team All-Big East selection for his big junior effort that led him to declare for the NFL Draft. Stith was instrumental in the Hokies’ challenge for the national title, displaying the burst to the hole and the ability to run both inside and outside.

He is a powerfully built runner who is very strong for his size with the deceptive speed to make big plays. He is a strong runner who has been an avid weight room worker and one of the most dedicated players in the Hokie program. He doubled his career rushing attempts as a senior after seeing extensive action early as a key performer in their run oriented attack. He has outstanding cutting skills as a scatback with the vision to pick his holes quickly, along with smart running decisions.

As a junior he ran for 1,119 yards on 226 carries with 13 TDs. He is a short low-based runner with a low center of gravity that does not give defenders a clean shot at tackling him. He is quick to the hole, with the burst to accelerate through it and get into the secondary. He is one of this year's best cutback runners with the ability to find an opening. He shows quick moves to create his own running lanes.

As a sophomore in '98 he rushed for 699 yards on 133 carries for 3 TDs. He displays good vision and balance, with the strength to simply bounce off defenders and keep making yardage.

As a receiver, he has very limited experience with only 13 career receptions. He needs extensive work in that area, as he does as a blocker. He does show the willingness and toughness to block but has marginal skills to handle blitzing linebackers. He has good speed with the lateral quickness to get to the corner and make plays.

Tough runner with the elusiveness to get outside and the strength to run inside. Quality backup type runner and a good No.2 back early in his career with starting ability in time. His lack of return skills will hurt his final grade and force him into the late 1st day area where he will be fine value for some lucky NFL club.
