Honda Awards Silver Anniversary Class
For the 25th year, the Honda Awards recognize woman's superiority in collegiate sports. However, the 2000-2001 silver anniversary class seems more fit for gold.
This summer, awards will be presented in Salt Lake City, Utah to all 15 student-athletes. That night, in next year's home for the 2002 Winter Olympics, one woman will be presented with the prestigious Honda-Broderick Cup and recognized as the Collegiate Woman Athlete of the Year.
The Honda Awards honor the top female competitor in 12 NCAA-sanctioned sports along with the Division II and Division III athletes of the year as well as a special Inspiration Award winner. Selected for their abilities on the field, in the classroom and out in their respective communities, Honda proudly presents the best of the best with nominees from Volleyball, Field Hockey, Soccer and Cross Country. Who do you think should win? ...... CHECK OUT THE 2001 BRODERICK CUP AWARD WINNER!!
