The Honda Award for Cross-Country goes to University of Colorado senior Kara Grgas-Wheeler.

The Duluth, Minnesota native led her Buffaloes to their first-ever NCAA team title. The six-time All-American broke the tape in every race she ran.

Some of her personal victories included the Rocky Mountain Shootout, the NCAA Regionals and the Big 12 Conference Championship. But her superior drive and dedication didn't end at the finish line; Kara's 3.58 GPA earned her All-Conference academic honors as well.
