TORONTO (Ticker) -- Edmonton Eskimos quarterback Jason Maas and Montreal Alouettes linebacker Brian Reid were among the four CFL Players of the Week for Week Two. Maas earned the offensive honor after completing 15-of-29 passes for 353 yards and two touchdowns in 40-24 victory over the Ottawa Renegades. He also rushed five times for 19 yards. Reid recorded nine tackles in the Alouettes' 28-12 victory over the Toronto Argonauts to capture the weekly defensive award. Winnipeg Blue Bombers kicker Troy Westwood, who converted all five of his field goal attempts in a 24-15 win over Hamilton, garnered the special teams honor. Winnipeg defensive end Daved Benefield was tabbed as the Lineman of the Week, registering two tackles, a sack and blocked punt in the win over Hamilton.
