Don't play the Brewers to win outright much because I don't think much of their offense, which was evident yesterday in 1-0 loss -- although we won on the runline. Milwaukee came out of that better bullpen-wise and while the starting pitching matchup was fairly even Monday. That doesn't appear to be today with Brewers ace Freddy Peralta opposed by Tyler Alexander.
Peralta wasn't quite as awesome last time out, but he could have his way with this lineup right now where a solid 5-6 Rays batters every night have an OPS under .600 and few are showing signs of breaking out. Rays defense also can be iffy and strikeouts are mounting, This is not their usual light's out pen and while Brew Crew bats are regressing some I like the way they play for this starter - with a 29-13 run differential in his 5 starts. So much for Josh Lowe returning for Rays. Better get Junior Caminero up here soon
