    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    James's Analysis:

I'm not in love with this price, but I do think the Oilers ML is the play here. The Kings went on a nice run during the regular season and do a nice job of keeping the puck out of their own net. Nonetheless, the Oilers looked primed for a run this season. I expect McDavid and his boys to end this series at home on Wednesday.

    Griffin's Analysis:

Stubborn, or sticking to my guns? I'm going back to the over despite the 1-0 slugfest we saw on Monday. 13 of the last 17 meetings in the playoffs between these two has reached this 6 number, and games in Edmonton have averaged 8.0 goals in the eight games that were not a Game 7.

    Bruce's Analysis:

Jim Hiller switched up tactics in Sunday's Game 4 for the Kings, who played a heavy game complete with plenty of hard hits to knock the Oilers off of their pins and limit them to just 13 shots on goal. Only one of those shots (by Evan Bouchard) got thru, and Stuart Skinner made the one goal stand up, but the action had a different feel due to LA's punishing style and some confident work in goal from David Rittich, who started in place of Cam Talbot and performed confidently. Edmonton's power play (8 for 15) has been the story of this series to date, but a new chapter might have emerged on Sunday as this matchup turns into a grinder. Play Kings-Oilers "Under"

    Matt's Analysis:

If the Kings had started David Rittich before Game 4 in net, maybe they aren't facing elimination on Wednesday. Maybe if I was taller, I'd be in the NBA (probably not). I'm assuming Rittich again here, and he played well Sunday in the 1-0 loss but also only faced 13 Oilers shots. I guarantee you at least double that many for Edmonton back home. Instead of -195 on the ML, let's do this great price on the puckline because if the Kings are down a goal with about five minutes left, they probably pull Rittich that early with the season on the line (as opposed to the final minute or so of a regular season game), and the Oilers can theoretically pile on.
